PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A pair of collectible dolls helped police track down a Portland man accused of several home break-ins.

Police arrested Jordan Payne, 21, after they searched a northeast Portland motel room where he was staying and found items belonging to at least 23 burglary victims.

Those items found included two collectible dolls of singer Cher that were stolen from a home in southeast Portland.

Police say Payne was trying to sell the dolls online.

According to court documents, Payne broke into more than 15 homes over the past few months. He would steal items from the homes and then pawn them off.

Payne is now facing more than 30 charges of burglary. He is due in court on Wednesday.
