Vancouver police investigating body found in Columbia River

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Vancouver police are investigating a case of a body being found along the side of the Columbia River east of the Interstate Bridge.

The body was found along Waterfront Trail next to two restaurants, Who Song and Larry’s and Joe’s Crab Shack.

Officials with the Vancouver Police Department said there the identity of the victim is not known at this time, adding that the body will be sent to the Medical Examiner to determine the identity and the cause of death.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is also assisting with the investigation.
