WASHINGTON COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -

Two people were injured in a head-on crash in rural Washington County Thursday night.

Washington County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened at 5:31 p.m. at 2195 Golf Course Road.

WCSO said one driver was driving too fast and overshot a 90 degree turn, crossed the centerline and hit another vehicle.

The driver was cited for driving with a suspended license and failure to maintain lane.

Two people were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Golf Course Road was shut down for over an hour but is now back open to traffic.
