BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

A Beaverton man who was hit by a car in September died on Thanksgiving, according to deputies.

Ryan Asbury, 20, was entering the crosswalk at Southwest 170th Avenue and Farmington Road at 11:20 a.m. Sept. 14 when he was hit by a 2004 Toyota Corolla driven by 75-year-old Julie Taylor.

Asbury was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Deputies said he died on Thursday.

Taylor was cited on chargers of failure to yield the right of way and failure to obey a traffic control device in September. Deputies said she remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Investigators said she was heading north on Southwest 170th Avenue and was turning right onto Farmington Road when she hit Asbury.

The case is now being forwarded to the district attorney's office for review of possible criminal charges.
