The sister of the woman killed in a shooting in Oak Grove over the weekend is speaking out for the first time.

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies say Gregory Siegberg, 62, shot his ex-wife's friend, Melissa Vargas, in the back of the neck.

Siegberg's ex-wife, Debra Kusch-Siegberg, ran from the house as he fired multiple times at her. Kusch-Siegberg was able to run to a neighbor's to call 911. Siegberg then left the home in his car.

About an hour later, Washington State troopers responded to a crash on I-5 near Ridgefield. According to troopers, when they arrived, Siegberg admitted to killing someone in Oregon.

Vargas' sister, Bambi Stilgebouer, says she wants to know why she had to lose her sister to this violence, and has a message for the suspect.

"Ask him, I want to know why were you such a coward that you shot her in the back," said Stilgebouer.

Stilgebouer says she wants Siegberg to get the justice he deserves.

"I definitely want justice for him. If he doesn't plead guilty I will be in that court room everyday, and if they ask if anybody wants to get up and make a statement, I intend to get up and make a statement. I'm angry. I'm angry at him for what he did to my sister and my family."

Siegberg is now facing murder and attempted murder charges. He is being held in the Clackamas County Jail.
