VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Two men were caught on camera stealing electronics from a Vancouver store.

Vancouver Police report the two suspects entered an Aaron’s on Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard on November 18 and stole a cell phone. Police added, the next day the two suspects came back to steal a laptop.

“I really want to catch these guys just due to the fact, I mean, they've come in here with the audacity to steal [two] times and not even thinking about it,” manager Veronica Fridley said.

Fridley said one suspect was seen in the store Tuesday, but drove away before police arrived.

Employee, Tony Sprague said he helped one of the men purchase an item.

“He was giving me information,” Sprague said. “He was making it sound like he actually wanted to get an account with us and everything.”

While Sprague looked down at paperwork, that’s when he said the second suspect slipped a laptop under his jacket.

“This isn’t the first time they’ve stolen obviously,” Sprague said. “They know what they’re doing, they know how to distract someone.”

Sprague said he was suspicious of the men then but wasn’t able to pin point whether a laptop was in fact, missing and confronted the men.

“The one that was giving me the information, lifted his shirt, and said ‘I got nothing,” Sprague said. “His buddy just kind of sat there and shuffled.”

Fridley said she submitted video surveillance and information to Vancouver Police.

If anyone recognizes the suspects, call Vancouver Police.
