HOOD RIVER, OR (KPTV) -

A man rescued a cat that was stuck 100 feet near the top of a tree in Hood River on Tuesday, and it was all caught on camera.

Tyler Roth posted the video of the rescue on YouTube. Roth says the cat, named Fievel, climbed 60 feet up a Douglas-fir in Hood River.

Roth, who is a certified ISA Arborist from Oregon State University, strapped on a GoPro and started climbing the tree to save the cat.

As Roth got closer to Fievel, the cat immediately climbed to the top of the tree.

After a little coaxing, Roth finally grabbed the cat by the scruff of the neck and put him into a bag.

Roth and the cat eventually made it safely down to the ground.
