Clackamas Fire responds to two house fires, no injuries reported

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -

Clackamas Fire District #1 responded to two house fires Thursday night.

Firefighters responded to the first fire at 8:19 p.m. located in the 15600 block of S. Lammer Road in Oregon City.

The homeowners were able to make it safely out of the house after seeing flames on the exterior of the home.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.

Clackamas Fire was called to the second shortly after extinguishing the first one. The second fire was located at a home at the intersection of Sunnyside Road and Highway 212 in Damascus.

When firefighters arrived they found an exterior fire that started possibly due to a chimney fire.

Six people were in the home at the time of the fire and were able to get out safely.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire and kept it from spreading into the home.

No injuries were reported.
