Homeowners hear gunfire in Mt. Scott-Arleta neighborhood, police investigating

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police are investigating a shooting that took place in the Mt. Scott-Arleta neighborhood in Southeast Portland early Friday morning.

East Precinct officers responded to the area around 6:14 a.m. after the received a call about a shooting.

Witnesses told officers they heard gunfire and then a car speeding out of the area.

One man who is hearing impaired told police he was sitting at his computer when he felt glass hit him as a bullet came through his window.

Police said no one was injured in the shooting. Officers found evidence of gunfire in the street.
