LAKE OSWEGO, OR (KPTV) -

Police are searching for a man suspected of stealing at least eight automated external defibrillators from Lake Oswego businesses.

The thefts occurred between March and October from commercial buildings on Meadows Road.

Investigators said the man entered the main building lobbies during normal business hours and went directly to the AED cabinets. He took the devices and left the buildings.

The combined value of the AEDs is more than $10,000.

Detectives released a surveillance image of the suspect Friday. The only description of the suspect is that he is a white man believed to be in his 20s or 30s.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call police at 503-635-0238. The Lake Oswego Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information resulting in the successful prosecution of the suspect.
