Portland police investigating armed robbery at strip club

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police are investigating a report of a robbery early Saturday morning at an adult entertainment business where one of the suspects was said to be armed with a rifle.

Officers from the Portland Police Bureau’s East Precinct were called to the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen's Club located at 15826 Southeast Division Street at 3:24 a.m.

Witnesses told police that two black men wearing dark clothes and masks forced their way into the location as it was closing and that one of the suspects was armed.

Police say the suspects took a large sum of cash, and then left with the manager’s vehicle, a green 2007 GMC pickup with Oregon license 450HCY.

Robbery detectives said that no one was injured during this incident. Anyone with information relevant to this case is asked to call the PPB’s detective division at 503-823-0400.
