CLARK COUNTY, WA (KPTV) -

Computer images have been released in hopes they will help solve a nearly 37-year-old mystery.

A teen girl's remains were found in a wooded area near Fly Creek in the northeast corner of Clark County on Feb. 24, 1980.

Based on anthropological examinations, she was 13 to 18 years old when she died. Investigators believe she was killed in the late 1970s.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children recently completed a detailed computer-generated image of the front of the girl's face, along with clay-like side images. The Clark County Medical Examiner's Office and Clark County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help identifying her and tracking down her killer.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office tip line at 360-397-2036 or the medical examiner at 360-397-2595.
