Local comedy fans will soon get the chance to see some of Portland’s funniest people, past and present.

The comedians will take the stage Wednesday night at a special 100th edition of the beloved local stand-up show "Earthquake Hurricane."

Comedian Alex Falcone, who has been featured in the TV series Portlandia, and three other local comics started the standup super-group “Earthquake Hurricane" two years ago in the basement of the northeast Portland bike shop Velo Cult.

The show grew so much in popularity, it had to be moved to a larger venue at The Liquor Store cocktail bar on Southeast Belmont.

Wednesday night will be the group's 100th show, and it will feature a guest appearance by comedian Gabe Dinger, who is now based in Hollywood.

The show starts at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, and tickets are available for $5 at the door of The Liquor Store.
