GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

A 16-year-old suspect accused of stabbing a man to death at a Gresham park has been arraigned on the charge of murder.

Mason Jay Meeker, 16, was arraigned in court Monday.

Meeker, who is facing a Measure 11 charge, was arrested Friday.

The victim, 20-year-old James Issei Arrington, was found dead near a baseball field at Gresham's Main City Park just after 9 a.m. Dec. 10.

An autopsy determined he had been stabbed multiple times and his death was ruled a homicide.
