HILLSBORO, OR (KPTV) -

Love was in the air at Ron Tonkin Field during Thursday night’s game against the Everett AquaSox.

Former Hillsboro Hops player Nate Robertson got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend Jamie on the field during the singing of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”

And of course, she said yes.

The baseball team congratulated the couple via Twitter Thursday night.

The pair also got a shoutout from Hillsboro Mayor Steve Callaway.

The Hops went on win the game against Everett, 5 to 4.

Robertson played for the Hops during the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
