Hillsboro firefighters respond to parking garage fire at hospital

HILLSBORO, OR (KPTV) -

Two cars went up in flames while parked at a Hillsboro hospital Friday morning.

Firefighters responded to a call around 7:50 a.m. about a fire at Tuality Community Hospital in Hillsboro, located at 335 Southeast 8th Avenue.

When crews arrived, they found two cars on the third floor of a parking structure on fire. The fire was extinguished within a few minutes and no one was evacuated or injured, the Hillsboro Fire Department said.

A fire investigator was sent to the scene but the cause of the fire was not initially known. The two cars were determined to be totaled.
