PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Update: Portland Police say 12-year-old Mary Elizabeth Coit was found at an East Portland library and has been returned home.

Portland Police are asking for help to find a missing 12-year-old girl.

Mary Elizabeth Coit is described as a black female, 5'4" tall, 150 pounds, wearing a hot pink t-shirt, blue denim shorts, sandals, with her hair in a bun.

Coit was last seen in the area of Southeast 188th Avenue and Stark Street around 8 p.m. Friday night.

Police say she may have changed her clothes into a gray shirt, light blue Capri pants, and gray high top shoes.

They said Coit was supposed to be watching her younger sibling but was reportedly upset about having to babysit. Coit and her family are new to the area so she may not be familiar with the neighborhood.

Police said at this point, no foul play is suspected and police are asking the public to keep an eye out for her.

If you see Coit, call 911. If you have any non-emergency information, contact Portland police.
