PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Two men were injured in a shooting incident in northeast Portland Sunday night during a possible gun deal, according to police.

The Portland Police Bureau said North Precinct officers were called to the scene at Northeast Oneonta Street and Claremont Avenue around 10:54 p.m.

Officers said they arrived and found two male victims suffering from serious gunshot wounds. Officers applied tourniquets to the victims as they waited for medical crews to arrive.

Both men were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.

Police said preliminary evidence suggests the victims had met with two or three other men in Woodlawn Park and were selling a gun.

One of the men shot both victims with a handgun and took the gun that was for sale. The suspects then fled the area.

Police have not released any suspect information.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Portland Police Bureau.
