PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Two separate Northeast Portland homes were the target of gunfire early Tuesday and police are investigating whether the shootings were related.

Police were called to the scene of the first shooting in the 3300 block of Northeast Rodney Avenue and Ivy Street around 12:30 a.m.

Several shots were fired at the home, breaking a window.

Police said the home was occupied at the time of the shooting but no one was injured.

Officers later responded to a second shots fired call in the 5200 block of Northeast 24th Avenue around 3 a.m. This home was also occupied and was hit by a number of gunshots.

No one was injured in the shooting, according to police.

Portland officers believe both homes were targeted. The shootings appear to be gang-related. Police are working to determine if the shootings are related.
