AUMSVILLE, OR (KPTV) -

Fireworks still haven't been ruled out as a cause of a fire in Aumsville that started late Tuesday night.

Two side-by-side barns were fully engulfed when crews responded just after 11 p.m. on Mill Creek Road.

Fire officials said the barns were filled with classic cars, shop tools and other “mobile property,” as well as propane tanks.

No one was hurt, but the damage is estimated to be $500,000.

Three dozen firefighters from Aumsville, Sublimity, Marion County, Stayton and Turner fought the blaze, which took just over an hour to get under control.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and while fireworks have not been ruled out officials said there are several factors at play.
