Dry Creek Fire near White Salmon grows overnight

KLICKITAT COUNTY (KPTV) -

A wildfire near White Salmon, Washington grew 50 acres Sunday night, according to Washington state officials.

The Washington Department of Natural Resources said the Dry Creek Fire grew to 400 acres and is only 10 percent contained.

Fire officials said 140 firefighters are working on the fire line. 

The Dry Creek Fire started at about three acres late Friday night and had grown to about 350 acres Sunday. 

Highway 141 north of Husum has been closed as crews battle the flames. A detour is in place via BZ Highway.
