PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Local protest leader Micah Rhodes, who is already facing accusations of sex abuse in Multnomah and Washington counties, is now facing more legal troubles.

In court documents from early May, investigators said Rhodes stole less than $100 worth of merchandise from a Target store. He pleaded not guilty and was released.

Rhodes pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree sex abuse in February in Washington County.

In that case, police claim Rhodes had sexual contact with an underage boy in Multnomah County in 2015 and an underage girl in Washington County.

Rhodes has been involved in multiple recent protests around the city and was arrested during a student protest in November and again in January during a protest downtown that blocked transit lines.
