PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A missing teen from Canada may be in Portland or Seattle, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Mekayla Bali was reported missing from her home in Yorkton Saskatchewan on April 12, 2016.

The case was highlighted again Wednesday, with investigators saying she still might be near her hometown, but it’s also believed she may have traveled to Portland or Seattle.

Her family issued an emotional plea for Bali to return home.

Bali turned 18 years old earlier this month.

She is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall and 114 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. She may be wearing glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to call the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678, the Bellingham Police Department at 360-778-8800 or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police at 306-786-2400.
