PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man was arrested after he was caught on camera stealing from a southeast Portland game store.

The owner of Red Castle Games, located at 6406 Southeast Foster Road, says the theft happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Surveillance video shows a man in a blue shirt wait for an employee to turn around, he then leans over the counter and grabs some card games and runs out the door.

The owner, Matthew Micetic, says the employee yelled at the man which alerted him and customers to the theft. Two customers then ran after the man.

Micetic says he jumped in his car to pursue the suspect. With the help of neighbors in the Mt. Scott-Arleta neighborhood, Micetic was able to recover the stolen games.

Portland police arrived and arrested the suspect, 26-year-old Alexander Kiss.

Kiss has been lodged into the Multnomah County Jail on a charged of theft in the third degree.
