Police looking for suspect in SE Portland bank robbery

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police are searching for the man who they said robbed a bank in southeast Portland Friday morning.

Officers from the Portland Police Bureau’s East Precinct responded to reports of a robbery at the KeyBank located at 4600 Southeast Woodstock Boulevard just before 10 a.m.

Witnesses at the bank told police the suspect gave a note to a teller demanding money. Police said no weapon was displayed by the suspect.

After getting an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller, the suspect left the bank without any further incident.

Police searched the area but did not find anyone matching the suspect’s description.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white man, 40 to 50 years old standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds with dark short hair and a goatee.
