BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

The Trump administration is honoring an Oregon company as part of its “Made in America” week.

President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence welcomed 50 companies, each representing a different state, to highlight their effort and commitment to American-made products.

Oregon was represented by Beaverton-based Leupold and Stevens, a company that makes riflescopes as well as other products including binoculars and golf rangefinders.

Rob Need and Shane Meisel represented the company in Washington D.C. and displayed a number of the company’s products.

“You construct and harvest the products that fill our homes, feed our families, and defend our nation, and enrich our lives. I want to make a pledge to each one of you: No longer are we going to allow other countries to break the rules, steal our jobs and drain our wealth—and it has been drained,” Trump said.
