PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

If bicyclists are looking for a way to cool down during the heat wave, they might want to head to southeast Portland.

Citybikes Workers' Cooperative has set up misters for people riding their bikes in the summer heat.

FOX 12 spoke with one of the owners, who says they started putting up the bike mister during Sunday Parkways.

Normally, the business brings the misters out when it gets over 90 degrees, and with this weeks heat, they've seen all kinds of people stopping by to cool down in front of their shop.

"People love it. They stop, they say thanks, they walk their dogs through it," said Ryan Smith, owner of Citybikes Workers' Cooperative. "Kids come and play in it in their swimsuits. It's awesome, yeah."

Anyone wanting to check out the bike mister can head to Citybikes Workers' Cooperative at 1914 Southeast Ankeny Street.
