Tualatin police searching for Applebee’s attempted robbery suspect

TUALATIN, OR (KPTV) -

Tualatin police are asking for the public’s help tracking down an Applebee’s attempted robbery suspect.

Officers responded to Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar on the 8500 block of Southwest Tualatin-Sherwood Road at 10:20 p.m. Saturday.

Restaurant workers told police the suspect made verbal demands, but he was not given any money. He did not display a weapon and nobody was hurt during the incident.

The suspect walked away from the restaurant. The Sherwood Police Department assisted with a K-9 team, but the suspect was not found.

Surveillance video was released of the suspect Thursday.

The suspect is described as a white man between 40 and 50 years old. He was wearing a baseball cap, a dark-hood sweatshirt, blue jeans and tan shoes.
