PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A new exhibit by the activist group Don't Shoot Portland is taking aim at the high number of police shootings and the people killed in those encounters.

The exhibit is called Stolen Angels, and provides a space to remember those who've died after being shot by police.

The group said "in the era of the Trump administration, we must use art to communicate our humanity."

The Stolen Angels exhibit is at the Williamson | Knight gallery on Northwest Flanders Street. It opened on Thursday and run through August 19.
