GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

Multnomah County Deputies responded to a fatal crash early Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to the single-car crash near the 4400 block of Southeast 282nd Avenue just before 1:55 a.m.

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office said the driver, 48-year-old Robert Stickney Sr., of Damascus, died at the scene.

Another man suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The Multnomah County Vehicular Crimes Team, which is comprised of members from the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office and the Gresham Police Department, responded to the scene to conduct the investigation into the cause of the crash. Alcohol and speed are believed to be contributing factors.

Southeast 282nd Avenue was closed for 4 hours between SE Powell Valley Rd and SE Division Street as crews investigated.
