Beaverton police arrest two during attempted dispensary burglary

BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

Police interrupted a burglary at a marijuana dispensary in Beaverton early Monday morning.

According to the Beaverton Police Department, officers responded to reports of a burglary at the Blooming Deals marijuana shop where they said they found three men attempting to pry open the door to the location.

The officers immediately arrested two suspects at the scene. The third ran away but was soon located and taken into custody.

Officers and K-9 units from both the Tigard Police Department and Hillsboro Police Department assisted with the search for the third suspect.

BPD officials note that this is the third recent attempt at robbing this dispensary, following incidents on July 28 and August 4.

The three suspects arrested Monday were 19-year-old Dean Ellis Jordan Hamilton, 18-year-old Brandon Allen Newman and 20-year-old Liam Edward Eddy. Officers note that all three are suspected in the incidents.
