RENTON, WA (KPTV) -

Not only does every game sell out at CenturyLink Field, the spots for fans at Seahawks training camp were completely full Wednesday as the 12th men got an up close and personal look at the 2017 team.

The fans were loud and proud, flocking to their slice of grass with a view of the new crew in blue.

The Asheim family made the trek north from Happy Valley to be in their happy place, Dad and fan Charlie Asheim said the training camp experience offered fun for both children and adults.

“They have a bunch of stuff that is friendly for the kids and they can relax,” he said. “It’s not as intense as a game… and I like it too.”

Paul Gates is president of the Seahawks booster club by day but Bernie Hawk by game day. Just like his team, he is also looking ahead to the season.

“I’ll try maybe a little different color or little different strip,” he said. “I do have a new hard hat to break in this year, a lime green hat that was custom made for me by a friend of mine.”

The Seahawks are in search of a healthy run game following being ranked 25th in the league a season ago after being in the top five the previous six seasons.

Thomas Rawls and new addition Eddie Lacy will carry the load while second-year tailback CJ Prosise could be the real game changer that Seattle’s offense covets.
