ALOHA, OR (KPTV) -

A missing 15-year-old Aloha girl is back home and safe, according to deputies.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s help locating Ashley Jarrell on Tuesday morning.

Deputies said she ran away from her home Oct. 18 and last spoke to her family on Nov.  5.

Investigators were concerned for her safety and said she has been known to stay in downtown Portland, Beaverton, Aloha and Vancouver, while also taking trains to other states.

By Tuesday afternoon, deputies said Jarrell saw the media coverage about the search and returned home on her own.
