CLARK COUNTY, WA (KPTV) -

Clark County Sheriff's Office deputies are searching for a man who robbed a Chase Bank late Tuesday afternoon.

The sheriff's office said at 4:16 p.m. the suspect walked into the Chase Bank branch inside the Salmon Creek Fred Meyer and produced a note demanding money.

No weapons were seen or implied, and no threats were made, according to the sheriff's office.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store heading northbound on foot.

K9 deputies attempted to locate the suspect, but he was not found.

Deputies described the suspect as a white man in his 20s, slender build with a scruffy beard. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with lettering, dark pants, and a dark baseball hat with white lettering.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
