CLARK COUNTY, WA (KPTV) -

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office says a chase ended in a crash early Saturday morning.

A deputy tried to stop a driver who was driving northbound on Northeast 172nd Avenue at about 85 miles per hour and crossing over the center-line of the road.

The driver continued to speed away northbound, running a stop sign while going 120 miles per hour, according to deputies.

According to the sheriff’s office, the pursuit ended when the suspect failed to negotiate a T-intersection, and ran into a gate and detached garage at a home on Northeast 159th and 172nd Avenue.

Deputies say the driver, 21-year-old Miguel A. Gomez, was arrested for attempt to elude and is being processed for DUI. Gomez and his two passengers were uninjured during the crash.
