(Meredith) -- A young Oklahoma woman said a mystery man saved her life after she wrecked her car in a wooded area.

Julia Jolly told KFOR-TV she overcorrected and crashed in a ditch earlier this month.

“I remember a strong force, so I think I fishtailed and spiraled down,” she told the news station.

A Good Samaritan who she’s calling her guardian angel came to her rescue.

"I saw this man coming down. I don't know how. I just know my back windshield was blown out, and all my jackets were back there,” Jolly said. “He grabbed my jacket and got on the hood. He didn't really say anything to me.”

Jolly said she blacked out at one point buts remembers the man pointing to her windshield, saying it would be the only way out.

He removed her from the vehicle safely. Jolly only suffered a few minor scrapes and bruises.

“I’m completely okay, no broken bones or concussion, just super sore and on pain meds,” she wrote on Facebook.

Jolly said an EMT told her someone died on the same road, in the same ditch, just a few weeks ago.

“The EMT said that by the look of it from the road, he didn’t think I would have made it,” she wrote.

Jolly never got a chance to thank the man who saved her life, but said she’s forever grateful.

Moments before the crash, Jolly said an anonymous person left a note and a $10 bill on her windshield at a nearby gas station. The note read: “For gas, Love Jesus.” Though two separate incidents, the young woman believes it may have added a small touch of "luck."

“I’m so lucky to still be here and to say that our God is SO GREAT...so thankful to be alive right now. This is not a coincidence,” she wrote. “Thank you, Jesus. I’m never spending that $10!!!!”
