ALBANY, OR (KPTV) -

A man broke into an Albany video lottery store at gunpoint Wednesday morning and handcuffed an employee to a door before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash, Albany Police say.

Officers say the crime allegedly occurred at the Yellow Flamingo in the 1100 block of Santiam Road Southeast.

He broke into the building just before 2 p.m. and was armed with a handgun. He then forced the employee into a back office and handcuffed him to the door before leaving the store, officers say.

A person who cleans the establishment found the employee and called police.

The suspect was wearing dark clothes, a mask and gloves at the time of the robbery. No additional information was released.

Law enforcement asks anyone with additional information about this case to call Albany Police Detective Ryan Knoll at 541-917-7686.
