CORVALLIS, Ore. -- A funnel cloud was spotted near Corvallis on Wednesday afternoon.The National Weather Service in Portland said people reported a funnel cloud near Tangent, about five miles east of Corvallis, at about 4:10 p.m.There were no reports of damage or confirmed touchdown.National Weather Service officials said recent weather patterns can produce a cold-air funnel cloud.These funnels do not usually touch the ground but can be dangerous if they do.
