More Valley Rain and Mountain Snow The rain showers will decrease overnight tonight. Saturday will be wet, breezy and cool with the rain increasing at night. Rain showers will taper off on Sunday and we'll get a brief break from the rain until another system arrives late in the day on Monday.
In the mountains, we're going to see plenty of fresh snow during the next couple of days. There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for the Cascades through 4 p.m. Saturday. Snow levels will be at around 2500 feet tonight and tomorrow. This means treacherous driving conditions over the mountain passes, but great news for skiers and snowboarders! The ski resorts could see 6 to 8 inches tonight, with close to a foot of fresh powder possible on Saturday! Snow levels will rise to well above pass elevations on Monday.
