Cold and Dry Wednesday
Colder air is moving in and high temperatures will be 30-35 in the metro area. Breezy east winds will make it feel like it's in the 20's. Lows Thursday morning could be down into the teens. Expect mostly sunny skies though Tuesday through Thursday. Clouds will increase Thursday afternoon and evening and there's moisture arriving Thursday night that could bring some snow. At this point the moisture looks to be focused south of Portland. We could end up getting anywhere from nothing to 2 inches by Friday morning. There's a much better chance of snow south of Salem. Friday afternoon through Monday morning will likely be dry and very cold with highs 25-35. Monday afternoon or evening, a chance of showers will move in. It could be cold enough for a rain/snow mix or a freezing rain/rain mix sometime between Monday afternoon and Tuesday evening.
