Gray and Cooler Most of Friday

Thursday, August 28th...4:30 p.m.

A major push of cooler marine air is in progress this evening and that means low clouds to start Friday in most areas west of the Cascades.  There may even be a few sprinkles at the Coast and in the Coast Range.  Expect at least partly sunny skies in the afternoon.  Tomorrow will likely be the coolest day in a month for the Portland metro area.

Labor Day weekend will be cool with a slight chance of a shower, mainly during the first half of Saturday and again Sunday morning. Temperatures get a little warmer early next week.
