PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - The 2023 Iditarod Sled Dog Race just wrapped up, and now FOX 12 is following a different kind of race, closer to home.

The IditaREAD, a creative reading challenge, is bringing a bit of Alaska to a classroom at St. Agatha in the Sellwood neighborhood. The object of the IditaREAD is for each student to try and read a total of 1,049 minutes.
