Hay truck on fire blocks part of Hwy 26 near Hillsboro

HILLSBORO Ore. (KPTV) - A hay truck on fire near Hillsboro was blocking all lanes on Highway 26 near Hillsboro on Monday afternoon.
The truck was in the westbound lanes close to the Jackson School Road exit.
By 5:42 p.m. crews had extinguished the flames enough that the eastbound lanes and at least one of the westbound lanes were reopened.
Crews from Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, with assistance from other agencies, poured tons of water on the truck fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
