Three suspects are wanted after a robbery involving a gun in Tanasbourne on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Hillsboro Police Department.

Neighbor Jennifer Paul said her street has been swarming with police over the past two weeks, and detectives have asked her about her neighbors and if she had concerns.

“It’s always been kind of a quiet neighborhood, nothing like that we’ve ever seen here before,” Paul said. “It was a shock to all of us because they were a nice old couple. We waved hi, and we saw each other come and go occasionally.”

The burglar still has not been identified or located by police, and Paul said she hopes police find him quickly.

“To find that after that, after a tragedy like that took place, that someone would like further victimize the family is just despicable and tragic,” she said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to contact Detective Maggie Brown at 971-253-9690 or via email at madalynbrown@beavertonoregon.gov.
