An Oregon teenager is getting a lot of attention online for her student ID picture, which looks a lot like a Disney character.
Kyra Dela Chica, a student at Aloha High School, tweeted out her transformation Wednesday, and she's already racked up nearly 100,000 retweets and more than 150,000 likes.
The 17-year old said she put on some heavy makeup to look like the matchmaker in the Disney movie "Mulan."
With some heavy blush, overdone eyeshadow and a painted-on mustache, she sat down to take her student ID picture.
She said this is something she has been waiting to do since her freshman year, when she says the then-seniors dressed up in their pictures at orientation.
Dela Chica said when she sat down, one of the photographers seemed a little skeptical about taking her picture, but she reassured them and the administration that it's what she wanted.
"They asked, 'Do you really want this at an assembly?' I was like, 'Oh heck yeah! That sounds like fun, go ahead,'" she said. "I've waited four years to do this and the moment has come!"
She added, "I tried really hard to do something I haven’t seen anyone else do. I guess this was it."
Dela Chica said the school has her old pictures on file if they want a nicer one, and she'd always retake it if they really wanted her to.
Fox 12 asked if she knew of any other seniors doing the same thing. She said not at Aloha High, but she did hear of a girl at another high school who dressed up as Harley Quinn in her picture.
