Rielle Creighton is thrilled to be anchoring the 5 & 11 p.m. news for Fox 12 Oregon and to discover the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Rielle is from Omaha Nebraska and grew up watching her mother on television who was also an anchor and reporter in the Midwest for more than 30 years.
She likes to say news is “in her blood.”

Before moving to Portland, Rielle was an anchor and reporter in Baltimore, MD. There she was awarded an Emmy for her breaking news coverage of the tragic ambush murder of a Baltimore City police officer.
Rielle has also reported and anchored in Miami, Florida where she covered the gut-wrenching mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas Highschool in Parkland that took the lives of 17 students and faculty.
Rielle was also anchor of the two-time Emmy-winning weekend evening newscast in San Diego, CA. She’s also worked in Milwaukee, WI and Mobile, Al. She began her television career in Lincoln, NE.
When she’s not working, she’s a busy mom of two small children. She enjoys running, hiking and travel. She once hiked the 27-mile historic Incan Trail in Peru all the way to Machu Picchu.
She is so excited to be here and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
