After an extremely wet day yesterday, and a good soaking overnight in some spots, we’ve begun to see some dry time this afternoon and even some sunbreaks. For September’s rain total so far, we’re well above average and over 3+ inches of rain at PDX. Very wet beginning to the month. Winds today have been much calmer, too.
We are dry for Thursday and we should see sun and clouds throughout the afternoon, temperatures will end up in the upper 60s tomorrow. More clouds roll in for Friday. There’s a slim chance we could squeeze out a shower Friday, but most should stay dry, but cloudy, with just a chance for a sprinkle. Saturday looks nice and dry, but Sunday another front comes through and brings in a showery day.
Looking ahead to next week, for right now it looks fairly dry, but we could see a disturbance sneak down a little bit further South which could bring in showers by Thursday.
