A thicker marine layer kept Portland metro area temps cooler today. This evening will be mainly clear until late, when clouds will redevelop.
Saturday will bring us some morning drizzle or sprinkles and plenty of cloud cover most of the day. We will have a few sunbreaks at some point in the afternoon, but temps will remain cooler, in the mid 70s.
A pattern of morning clouds and afternoon sunshine will continue through Monday. Tuesday we will briefly heat up, with highs back into the mid to upper 80s, but the heat won’t last long. Wednesday and Thursday look cooler with a chance of showers.
