A pair of armed robbers forced a bartender and two customers into a cooler at a bar in Milwaukie.

The robbery occurred at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at Gilmore’s Meadows on the 5800 block of Southeast Johnson Creek Boulevard.

The suspects stormed into the bar displaying handguns. They demanded money from the register and lottery machines.

The robbers locked the victims in a cooler and left with cash. It’s unknown if they ran away or drove away.

The victims escaped from the cooler through a small beverage door. They were not injured.

The suspects are described as black men wearing masks, hooded sweatshirts and gloves.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Milwaukie police at 503-786-7500.

Milwaukie officers are working with officers in Portland to confirm if these robbers are the same men wanted for a month-long string of robberies at bars in Portland.
