A bicyclist sustained minor injuries after being hit by a car in Milwaukie early Friday morning.
The Milwaukie Police Department said officers responded to the crash at the intersection of Southeast McLoughlin Boulevard and Southeast Milport Road around 4 a.m.
Police said the cyclist, 31-year-old Nickolus Standish, was struck by a vehicle. He refused to be treated by medics at the scene and refused to be transported to the hospital.
Officers said Standish disobeyed a traffic control device at the time of the incident. He was issued a citation.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
